It’s not the gift of life – it’s more like the GIF of life that is at the center of the moving image art of Hayden Zezula. They call him ZOLOC, and he’s travelled from Austin, Texas to New York City to show people all over the cyber world his colorful and sometimes creepy artistic experimentation.
ZOLOC is a self-taught artist, but he doesn’t just make moving graphic image files – he also creates full animation and web design. Some of the work that he displayed earlier in his career includes hypnotic and repeated developments of seemingly single units of matter that move complexly in cyclic repetition.
His work entitled “Oswra” features a perplexing amount of interconnected babies that often move synchronically creating a pattern that is mesmerizing and perhaps a little perplexing.
Both beautiful and bizarre, it’s magnificently unique art that deserves you’re undivided lunch-time web browsing attention.
