“It’s abstract. I couldn’t count all of the eyes, because that would take a lot of time,” says a little boy on Yayoi Kusama’s Give Me Love exhibition at David Zwirner Gallery.
The Creator’s Project has re-invented G-rated humor with a new series on their website, Kids Critique – where they bring children to contemporary art exhibitions to witness their reactions and opinions.
Contemporary art can be abstract enough that even someone with the highest IQ can’t seem to wrap their head around it. However, innocent and naive children give us their most honest responses, which in turn will leave you laughing out loud (For example, a painting of Yayoi’s is valued at “one dollar” to one young girl, and “two thousand billion dollars” to another little boy).
The Creators Project has yet to release what their next conquest will be, but we’re dying for another dose of cute-overload.
