Vanessa Albury

Vanessa Albury, a Nashville native with an MFA in Studio Art from NYU lives and works in Brooklyn. Her work is image and process-based, taking form in photographs, films, videos, sculptural objects, installations and interdisciplinary collaborations. Albury also co-curates The Sun That Never Sets, a nomadic video and performance art pop-up. She is currently the artist-in-residence at CEPA in Buffalo.

Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
