Art Frankly, The New Jobs Platform for the Arts Professional Network

Whether you are looking for a summer internship at a Chelsea gallery or an artist residence across the globe, Art Frankly is your destination. An online jobs and recruitment platform for the arts community, where you can build and engage with the art world. The platform is designed to serve artists, curators, gallerists, students, writers and other creatives. In addition to its job search and postings functionality, Art Frankly allows users to discover other opportunities while building their professional identity.
Founded by Karline Moeller and Josie Hines back in January 2014 after recognizing a need for a extensive recruiting tool focused to the art world.

“For an industry that is so large and multi-faceted, it was crucial that we built something that catered to this need,” says Moeller. “We wanted to build something that helps sustain and support the visual arts community,” she adds.

Within a year, their design and development team began building the platform. Pre-registrations began in March 2016 and as of November 2016, the platform has over 4,000 people registered, including numerous museums, galleries, art schools, dealers, art handlers, artists, etc.

Karline Moeller, CEO, manages client development and marketing strategy. She has worked for Sotheby’s, the Cy Twombly Foundation, and has run her own gallery. She also founded and runs Mana Residencies at Mana Contemporary. Josie Hines, COO, oversees the platform development, finances and operations. Hines previously worked at the World Economic Forum and has extensive experience in project management, mainly in media and entertainment. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School.
