Championed multi-media artist Jason Dussault, based between Vancouver and New York, first developed his passion for mosaic art whilst living in Malta. Respected as one of the oldest art forms in history, Dussault transforms the classical craft mixing grout, tile, paint and resin into monumental works of brilliant intrigue. Through the exploration of recognizable pop-culture characters often depicted in his work, Dussault has contemporized the ancient technique, reigniting present day interest. Other ventures include a 12-metre by four-metre mural at David Lam Park, Vancouver commissioned by Telus, alongside 500 volunteers.
